Paul is a highly sought after and respected specialist mediator in construction and engineering who is regularly appointed by the President of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Construction Industry Council (CIC) to resolve construction, engineering and surveying related disputes. Paul has acted as a mediator in over 70 occasions since 2011.
Paul seeks solutions to conflict by using dialogue, reconciliation, authenticity, flexibility of the mediation process, leadership, imagination and his own expert industry experience. Paul has worked at every level in construction from working directly on-site to director which, together with his study of construction law and his continued professional development enables him to robustly reality test parties, allowing them to focus clearly upon solutions.
Paul acts as a facilitative mediator, but can if the parties wish, act as an evaluative mediator who provides the parties with a non-binding decision following the mediation.
